Seven Lakes High School offers ample training in Career & Technical Education, with academic and technical courses assisting students in their pursuit of CTE-related disciplines.

Of the courses offered at Seven Lakes High School, most fall into one of four categories: Computer Science, Engineering, Digital Arts, and Business.

Computer Science

Seven Lakes High School offers a variety of Computer Science courses and tracks to help students pursue a career in the field.

We offer both academic-focused classes, such as AP Computer Science A and AP Computer Science Principles, and more technical courses that aim at teaching students practical skills in the field. Students can expect to learn about data structures, algorithms, programming languages, and programming practices when pursuing an endorsement in Computer Science.

Engineering

Seven Lakes High School also offers a multitude of courses related to Engineering, with specific course tracks that help students learn basic skills required for engineering.

When pursuing the field at SLHS, students can expect to learn about basic engineering principles and science, as well as industry tools and techniques, such as CAD design, through real-world application and practice.

Digital Arts

Seven Lakes High School offers a rigorous and thorough education in the Digital Arts, both teaching students about fundamental practices in the field and allowing them to get real-world practice using industry tools.

Students at SLHS can learn about photography, graphic design, animation, and fundamental art principles through a practice-based education that provides students with the tools they need to succeed in the Digital Arts.

Business

In addition to a thorough education in business theory, students at SLHS can also take a wide range of certification classes that can be applied to a real position in the field.

From courses in financial accounting to theoretical economics, students at SLHS have a variety of both theoretical and technical classes to help them learn more about business and industry.
